Big companies, small companies , high-tech, low-tech, employee friendly or not - they are all under our magnifying glass.

This is your chance to applaud your worthy employer :-) or, if you are unlucky, to denounce your lousy one :-(

a new Cooperation between PROLETAR and YEDDA (an AOL Company)

Hi everyone.

We are proud to announce a new Cooperation between PROLETAR and YEDDA (an AOL Company).

YEDDA is a unique and revolutionary search engine, using human expert to answer question regarding any field of interest.

you will find the Q&A GUI in each and every company page you'll visit, and under the "lets connect" tab at the top menu.

go to site and ask questions regarding the Corporate you're interested in.
someones out there have the answer.

PROLETAR TEAM

size does matter

We hate to admit it, but size does matter.
In order to really make a change, we need to use the statistics.
Those statistics will be used at "high windows" only if they will represent big representative sample.
Our data base is getting bigger and bigger day by day and the accuracy and quality of our data is growing intractably.
But still, we need more data in order to reach those opinion leaders and try to really make a change.
Another way to try and influence people to say their opinion is getting to them through places they usually visit – from that reason; we've opened a group at the social network "facebook".
We invite you all to join the group and combine fun with a good cause – a better environment for all of us.
Have any other suggestions? Meaning, we're looking at a win – win situation, in which stake holders gain a better life (better conditions, better prices, better procedures, better environment, better live: family, less stress etc…) and the corporation gains better profits.

In order for all that to happen, there's a need for a dialog between stake holders and corporates. Today, there's a lack of CSR measurements that are open, standard, reliable and transparent.

We, at proletar, started a place in which a dialog can be created and a truly open and transparent environment Allows a benchmark between corporations, driven bottom – up.

We decided that at this point the most important sector we would like to deal with is the employees.

In this post, we will present our own view to the reasons for the SCR up rise, especially at that sector.

1943, was the year Abraham Maslow proposed his hierarchy of needs.
In his theory, he presented a pyramid of 5 bricks demonstrating human needs.

Each brick is built up on the former one, and can not exist if a person did not fulfill the one prior to the present brick.
Meaning; you can not gain security \ safety in your life, before you've fulfilled the physiological needs such as food and shelter.
Once you have achieved those two, you will feel the need for social recognition and so on.

In today's world, most of the western world have achieved the physiological and safety needs, and moved on to the next brick of social recognition.

From that brick on, is where we will find most of the modern employees at the western world.

Up until a few decades ago, work supplied people with their physiological needs and the security & safety they needed.

Social recognition was always there, but many people were satisfied with just those two.

Those bricks were enough to drive them to work.
Corporates did not need to supply their employees with nothing more than that. But, in today's reality it is much different.

Employees today, are much more educated and would like to fulfill themselves in many fields. This fulfillment will make them happier and therefore more productive.

As a society, we will gain people who are calmer, more productive and the corporate as part of the society will gain improved income and a better place for all of us.

To achieve the self esteem \ Ego brick, people need to express themselves.
This expression can come in many ways and this post is only a short brief for this enormous field.

Proletar, is trying to supply a platform for one way of expression.
This expression, can revel a lot of "dark spots" in which employees opinion are silence.

The purpose of uncovering those "dark spots" is to spread some light on employee's feelings and to reveal them to the corporate managements.
We believe that by doing that, some of the non motivating issues, can be resolved on the bases of mutual interest, understanding and transparency.

Furthermore, the platform can be used as a benchmark for corporates, employees and other stake holders to compare the ways other corporates conduct their business and maybe to improve their procedures and by that, improve their bottom line.

In the next's posts, we will deal with other issues concerning our little initiative and update you on recent news and evolvement.

Till next time…

Proletar team.

The Post at the Jerusalem Post

Proletar is again making the headlines, this time on the Jerusalem Post.

Proletar earned today the economical headlines of the Jerusalem Post with a lengthy cover by David Shamah. The Post's article is highly positive and supportive for Proletar's vision and implementation. On top of that the Post was generous enough to publish 11x16cm picture of the team at the center of the page!

Since it's our first newspaper visual appearance, we are highly excited about it hence we can not hold ourselves from publishing the same picture again here...

Proletar is out in the news!!

Recently, thanks to Ido's endeavors, Proletar is becoming famous at Israel's local market. The most recent publications of Proletar were at the biggest Israeli news site Ynet at the biggest Israeli newspaper 'Yediot' and at DailyMaily the Israeli Hi-Tech workers newsletter.
We are expecting another publication next week at the 'Jerusalem Post'.

All and all Proletar gained a lot of Momentum inside Israel last week. Proletar's next target are global newsletters, blogs and newspapers... We are also considering to run outside-of-the-planet public relations to raise the awareness of extra-terrestrial creatures to Proletar (with Sivan's help, we can reach anywhere... :-))

Touche!

Your On Ramp - Working Parents WebSite

YourOnRamp is an exciting new website for professional women -- part resource portal and part social network for women trying to balance career and family, with particular emphasis on those who are "off-ramping" or "on-ramping."
Their target audience is educated, accomplished women who had successful careers before having children and are now trying to find creative solutions to balance their two priorities.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_whs3u9rZIs0/Rzf5OUZyeFI/AAAAAAAAA4M/82WGrR_pDxY/s320/YourOnRamp.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5131844324802328658" />

"Casual Sex Friday"

We didn't think of it this way when brainstorming on the best possible working place. The idea is simple and exactly follows the motivation of "The Best Working Place" blog - enabling a virtual meeting place where people share their experience about the companies they work for with others.

We truly believe that one of the important criterias for company to be successful is its' employees satisfaction. Companies which will get higher score at "Proletar" will be probably companies that take care of their employee and therefore worth working for.

Do you have an opinion about the company you work for? Do you want to share it anonymously with others? Fill in a review and aside of taking part in the multi-log about your company you may also earn a new MP3!

See ya!

Companies doing the right thing (or not...)

A great new site focuing on praising or denouncing companies' behavior based on their deeds.
You may submit a story you found relevant with regards to specific company or just give a thumb up or down for other people stories.

This is still a "baby site" but should it become mature it may have a great impact on the world we are leaving at.
