Hey.
It's been a while since we last uploaded any updates \ thoughts.
In that time a lot have happened, and we feel we would like to share it with you.

Our little initiative has gone a long way since day 1, and we feel there's a need to emphasize the path we would like to follow.

The initiative of proletar, is aimed toward the CSR agenda.
A lot was written and said about CSR, and it's hard to collect it all to one clear statement.

Many see it as the right way to conduct business and live life at the employment world, but the ways to do so are varied and the ones who will try to follow CSR, will find it difficult to implement one methodology which is right.

In the following weeks, we will try to approach CSR from a philosophy point of view and by doing so, showing the logic behind it.
We believe that every method that achieves the purposes of that philosophy is right.

CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility – speaks about corporate behavior towards their employees, customers, suppliers and actually any "stake holder" they interact with.

The common believe is, that if a corporation will act with those stake holders according to the CSR spirit it will gain more profits in the long run. Meaning, we're looking at a win – win situation, in which stake holders gain a better life (better conditions, better prices, better procedures, better environment, better live: family, less stress etc…) and the corporation gains better profits.

In order for all that to happen, there's a need for a dialog between stake holders and corporates. Today, there's a lack of CSR measurements that are open, standard, reliable and transparent.

We, at proletar, started a place in which a dialog can be created and a truly open and transparent environment Allows a benchmark between corporations, driven bottom – up.

We decided that at this point the most important sector we would like to deal with is the employees.

In this post, we will present our own view to the reasons for the SCR up rise, especially at that sector.

1943, was the year Abraham Maslow proposed his hierarchy of needs.
In his theory, he presented a pyramid of 5 bricks demonstrating human needs.

Each brick is built up on the former one, and can not exist if a person did not fulfill the one prior to the present brick.
Meaning; you can not gain security \ safety in your life, before you've fulfilled the physiological needs such as food and shelter.
Once you have achieved those two, you will feel the need for social recognition and so on.

In today's world, most of the western world have achieved the physiological and safety needs, and moved on to the next brick of social recognition.

From that brick on, is where we will find most of the modern employees at the western world.

Up until a few decades ago, work supplied people with their physiological needs and the security & safety they needed.

Social recognition was always there, but many people were satisfied with just those two.

Those bricks were enough to drive them to work.
Corporates did not need to supply their employees with nothing more than that. But, in today's reality it is much different.

Employees today, are much more educated and would like to fulfill themselves in many fields. This fulfillment will make them happier and therefore more productive.

As a society, we will gain people who are calmer, more productive and the corporate as part of the society will gain improved income and a better place for all of us.

To achieve the self esteem \ Ego brick, people need to express themselves.
This expression can come in many ways and this post is only a short brief for this enormous field.

Proletar, is trying to supply a platform for one way of expression.
This expression, can revel a lot of "dark spots" in which employees opinion are silence.

The purpose of uncovering those "dark spots" is to spread some light on employee's feelings and to reveal them to the corporate managements.
We believe that by doing that, some of the non motivating issues, can be resolved on the bases of mutual interest, understanding and transparency.

Furthermore, the platform can be used as a benchmark for corporates, employees and other stake holders to compare the ways other corporates conduct their business and maybe to improve their procedures and by that, improve their bottom line.

In the next's posts, we will deal with other issues concerning our little initiative and update you on recent news and evolvement.

Till next time…

Proletar team.
